Hans Kattström
CEO of Scandinavian GtS AB, Stockholm, Sweden

His experience covers all commercial technologies - how the implementation into our society is done and what the driving factors are. Thus enabling his role as a special advisor to communities, cities and nations on the international market.  Hans Kättström was the first to introduce his vision of biogas as a viable sustainable solution in the future of vehicle fuel. Today this vision is well on its way to becoming true, as Compressed BioGas (CBG) and Liquefied BioGas (LBG) are being used as vehicle fuel, LBG in particular is officially regarded as the most promising renewable alternative available.

LBG production complies with society’s requirement of a 2-nd generation fuel and opens the door for new perspectives, whereas biogas can be produced, distributed and consumed in large scale. The fuel is the ultimate solution for heavy duty traffic and can be used in existing diesel engines under the dual fuel concept or in dedicated gas engines. Biogas in the form of CBG & LBG is no longer a niche fuel for selected customers; thanks to new technology it is now readily available for everyone.

About Scandinavian GtS:
SGtS has developed a process to produce LBG (Liquefied BioGas) from biogas sources such as landfills or digester plants. This solution offers complete new possibilities to capture the methane in landfills and mass produce significant quantities of LBG in large digester plants all over the world.
